I brought this remote and tried it out and it worked great right after I bought it. I still had the remote that came with the TV, but I took that with me in case I lost the other remote or one day I couldn't put it down. In a nutshell. A day after testing, I installed this remote and came back with my original one. And suddenly my TV started acting up like it would turn off when I press a button to go left or right. I called my telemechanic because I thought something was wrong with my TV. So my tv company said my remote that was supposed to come with the tv might be faulty and failing so they sent me another one. So I left my TV off for a day or two until my new remote arrived. Well, I just wanted to see what would happen to my TV with the original, so I turn the TV on with that and look at the TV. worked fine with the remote control, at first I thought I had messed up my TV. The only thing I could think of was this remote that I had used to test the day before. So unless I'm having problems, I don't think I'll be using this remote. And this remote said it was for my TV which it worked on but I think it confused my TV's program with my original remote. This is the only one I've used differently. And until I used this remote, my TV always worked perfectly. Maybe just a bug or something, but I don't know if I'll use it again.
