As a beginner to beadwork, I thought it would be interesting to take one of these and try a few projects. The set includes beading needles (very small, with tiny eyelets), thread (actually quite decent quality) and a set of beads. I wouldn't recommend using the beads that came with the kit unless you have extra beads and aren't bothered by the mismatch. I've made a few bracelets here before, and here's what I think: get ready to bend that sucker. Anyway, you really don't have much room from one end of the loom to the other. My first project was about 5 inches long before I ran out of space. (That includes being so close to the end that it actually tore the project apart a bit.) If you're like me and have a larger wrist, this just won't work. I bent the metal outward on both sides as evenly as possible and was able to add about 3 inches to my designs. I could probably make a little more out of it, but I'm holding back for now.
