I live on the first floor of an apartment building and passers-by can look right into my apartment, and I never feel comfortable opening the curtains I've been looking for other things to let the light in but also give me the privacy I want. It works great. The corners fall but I sealed them with tape. I suspect this is because it came in a roll and it might take a while to lay flat. Of course, you'll need to measure out the area you want to place beforehand to make sure you have enough to cover the surface of the window. .Super easy to install. I used a spray gun and it stuck right in. The instructions say to remove the foil but there was no foil to remove. The photo shows the outside window of my apartment with the curtains drawn back after I have applied the protective film. The only reason it's 3 stars and not 5 is that the corners came off a bit and I had to tape them over.
