This docking station is ideal if you don't have a docking station for the entire system. My kids use their PS4 almost every day and I hate plugging it into the mini USB port every night. This makes it very easy to pair them both. The front panel shows in red that it is charging and in blue that it is charged. Must have if you just want to dock and go.
