I previously had a 4.1 sound system model that I LOVED. I only got a new one because I've lost motor skills in one leg and it's difficult to get up off the floor. The build quality of this chair was as high as I expected from this brand. With the cable the sound is better and the "rumble" is even more intense than my old chair. The folding armrests are good and the height is near perfect (I'm 5ft 8" and can swing normally). However, I have two complaints: First, more padding around the perimeter would be nice. And second (that's bad) it causes back pain after about an hour. When these chairs are on the floor, they can swing all the way back, making the shape more natural. However, the base prevents you from leaning back very far. Then the shape promises no comfort. In general, this would be a good chair for shorter people (like children), but if you're 5ft or taller, you'd be better off with the non-stand version. Ps that screws right into the bottom left corner and makes a big difference to the base.
