compared to the cheaper ones I bought for around $2-3, they hold all my hair. I have the straightest Asian black hair an inch or two below my shoulders and surprisingly it doesn't slip out. I recently cut my hair just above my shoulders so I don't use them anymore, but the acrylic clips look so cute on my bag's shoulder straps and on my jewelry stand!
