We were stubborn and thought the OEM charger would be good enough, but we were wrong. There is no need to hide bugs, do a little research and you will see them everywhere. This type of charger should be sold with gizmos, and I doubt Verizon doesn't. even a bundle is better than selling a product that gets so much attention. For all users saying the magnet doesn't work... try removing the shipping film from the back of the watch. My son/us didn't notice that at first and attaching the watch was problematic. I removed the film but it doesn't snap into place.
