Functional, the pepper mill has a knob on the top to adjust the grind from medium to fine or anywhere in between and is easy to fill or refill. Clear acrylic allows the user to see how much remains in the center chamber. When refilling a pepper grinder, I've found that setting the grinder up in a bowl or on a plate is a great way to prevent spilled peppercorns from ending up in unfamiliar places. The small size of this pepper mill allows you to take it anywhere (maybe even to your favorite restaurant!). There's nothing like fresh spices to spice up your meal. The aroma of freshly ground pepper is exquisite. The small chamber also keeps the remaining peppercorns fresh in the original container until they are needed in the pepper mill.
