Very handy for lens and camera storage

I bought several of these inserts and have found them useful for storing my camera bodies and lenses. They accommodate many different sizes and provide adequate protection. I like the Coyote Brown color because it makes it easier to see my gear compared to having it stored in a black insert. I have used these inside bags when carrying an extra body and/or lens with me and also in drawers at home where I have some gear stored. They are well-made and functional.

Pros
  • Added this padded insert to my camera bag for added protection and it works great
Cons
  • The bag is not waterproof and offers no protection against rain or water damage

Works for exactly what I need it for

I've been looking for a small padded cube to use as protection for my DSLR camera (Nikon 7200). I have a camera bag and a backpack, but sometimes I'm just bringing my camera and one lens and don't need the full set up. I wanted something that I could fit into whatever bag I am carrying (usually a mid size purse). I've purchased a few others, but they were too big or too small. This is perfect. It's big enough to fit my camera with an 18-55 attached. There's enough room to fit my zoom lens as…

Pros
  • Perfect for a tactical sling bag I have. Keeps camera protected nicely. So far seems to be durable.
Cons
  • The bag does not have enough padding to protect the camera

Nice little camera insert

This is a small camera protection insert to fit in a small bag, not necessarily a camera bag. It holds a small camera and one mid size lens. I used it with my M50 and the 22mm pancake lens on the body, and an adapted EFs 55-250 zoom lens. That’s it. Put it inside a small sling bag and it was ready to go. But it will work in a bigger bag as well, just remember it will only fit the camera with a small lens attached and one other lens.

Pros
  • Works perfectly on any bag.
Cons
  • Not as advertised.

Unique Mid-sized Insert

This insert is just the right size for a standard 35mm camera with a mid-sized lens. There really isn't much room left over for an extra lens, unless it's a pancake. I dropped a star only because the padding is a bit thin and not very resilient. It might not prevent shock damage if the camera and bag it's in is dropped from waste level, but probably will protect against scratches and dents.

Pros
  • Surprised at cushion quality. A little small for my DSLR.
Cons
  • The bag does not have any pockets or compartments for storage

Fits the Filson Small Field Bag perfectly.

I recently got back into photography as a hobby, and the cameraphone wasn’t really cutting it - So I got a used Fuji XT1, and the kit 18-55/2.8 lens. Also snagged a manual 55/1.8 and manual 21/1.8Not wanting to look like a dork with an obvious camera bag was high priority, so the old trusty Filson man-purse was pressed into duty. If I was a rich man I’d chuck the camera and glass into the bag without a thought, but you don’t keep money in the bank by having expensive gear. This insert was just…

Pros
  • Good level of protection for the camera
Cons
  • The bag lacks support and collapses easily

Good lense inserts - my new review

I have been looking for some cheap lens inserts for my Domke bag (those don’t have a lot of cushioning). These fit very well and protect the lenses. Also protect your hips from banging into the camera/lenses. They cheap enough for the prices.

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • The bag is difficult to access and requires too much effort to retrieve the camera

Just right!: my feedback

For reference: I have the Fossil Fiona satchel, Canon SL2 with 24mm lens attached & 50mm lens that’s loose.I’ve been purchasing and returning camera inserts and I have finally found the ALMOST perfect one. This would be perfect for this purse if I were just one inch shorter. But nonetheless this is perfect for now. It fits snug in my purse and my camera and extra lens fit perfectly, along side with my wallet (has to be standing but not a big deal to me). If you own this purse then this is the…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The bag's design is outdated and lacks modern features

Convert your designer bag to a camera bag

This is an early 2000 Louis Vuitton "camera bag”, it lacks lining to protect gears. This insert is perfect in size to fit, so now this LV bag is a proper camera bag. One thing you should consider before buying this insert is it doesn’t have a lid so it doesn’t work well by itself, but I prefer it without the lid for this setting. The insert is not very thick so I don’t recommend for luggage that may take some beating in travel. The camera I sampled is a Sony A7C with Lensbaby 56mm lens. Bigger…

Pros
  • Foldable and Portable, great for storing your Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Samsung, Leica and More
Cons
  • The bag's dimensions are not accurate and do not fit all DSLR SLR cameras

Great drop bag on my review.

Great affordable way to add a camera organization for a small mirrorless to a normal bag. Only complaint would be the limited range of locations for that the center bar can be placed. Also note that it is not an especially strong crossbar, if you are squeezing this tightly into a bag I think it may end up getting partly crushed over time (mainly if there is not a camera providing rigidity).

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The bag's logos and branding are cheaply printed and fade easily

does the job good for me

I just got this for dropping my camera into my purse. I want to eventually buy one of those expensive leather camera bags that look like purses but until then I'm just converting the purses I already have with this.

Pros
  • Boys
Cons
  • The bag attracts scratches easily and shows wear and tear quickly

Sturdy and offers good protection

I often will throw my DSLR in my purse and go. I purchased the pouch to protect my camera while in my bag. The Nikon d7500 with a 300mm lens fits snuggly.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • The bag is overpriced for its low quality

Well-padded camera insert for any messenger bag or backpack

This is the shape of a camera. It is about 4" x 7" x 7", which is a little taller than it needs to be for my Leica Q. Most any EVIL or SLR will fit easily, with a little extra room. It fits easily in my old messenger bag and protects my camera like a dedicated camera bag would, but no one will ever look at my old bag and say "Wow! Red dots! That must be a camera bag and I should steal it!"

Pros
  • Bag & Case Accessories
Cons
  • The bag is difficult to store and takes up too much space

Very Happy in my review

I quickly turned all my purse and backpack into a camera bag. I have no worries with this product. It holds my Sony A600 and two lens.

Pros
  • I would have liked the padding a bit thicker, but I would buy it again. Good product
Cons
  • The bag material is not durable and easily tears apart

Would recommend, very simple, perfect for a day bag

I fit my camera (a6000) w/lens on one side, a spare lens, speed light on the other. Could fit another lens or other fragile equipment, i just recommend that u put each item in its own sleeve or velvet bag to prevent scratching.

Pros
  • Protects my bridge camera and DSLR very well
Cons
  • The bag has a strong chemical smell that takes a long time to dissipate

Perfect insert best in my review

I bought a fanny pack for some camera lenses and wanted an insert to go inside. This fit perfectly for my needs. The bag can only be hand-washed, and cleaning is difficult.

Pros
  • 7.48 x 7.87 x 4.33 inches
Cons
  • The bag can only be hand-washed, and cleaning is difficult

Great for Travel: my feedback

Great little camera pouch for travel - can turn any backpack into a camera backpack. It worked well for my month-long trip overseas with 1 DSLR and a 50mm Prime Lens.

Pros
  • Bags & Cases
Cons
  • The bag's straps are not adjustable according to personal preference

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It isn't as big as you think.

It is what I wanted. That's my feedback. Well made. But It may not be big enough for a digital camera with a medium telephoto.

Pros
  • Just what I wanted fits nice and snug in a little backpack and secures my camera nicely..
Cons
  • The bag's zippers get stuck easily

Great for G4 bag for my opinion

I bought this insert to use in the G4 medical bag to use it as a camera bag. It's a perfect fit and hold my camera and lens really well.

Pros
  • Very well made, good stitching, good padding, fit my bag perfectly.
Cons
  • The bag is not versatile and can only hold one camera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very helpful for protecting camera inside a shoulder bag.

With airline carry on baggage restrictions, I found that a shoulder bag offered the most convenient way to carry my DSLR along with other easy access items. But the shoulder bag didn't offer padding protection for the camera and lenses, so this pouch was a perfect addition.

Pros
  • Protected my camera from damage.
Cons
  • The bag's black color attracts and shows lint and dust easily

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits my camera and extra lens

Fits everything great and it goes inside my large purse so I can take it with me without having to bring a separate camera bag! Very convenient!

Pros
  • It fit perfectly it was worth it.
Cons
  • The bag is too bulky and difficult to carry around
