All sport laser rangefinders are very similar and generally differ primarily in build quality and warranty. It's one of the cheapest I've seen, although not the cheapest. It has a number of functions for measuring angles, mainly for golf (according to the instructions), although this knowledge can be useful for both hunters and targets. I don't play golf, but I do spend a lot of time archery and airgun shooting, two sports where knowing exact distance is important. Management is very easy. Press the power button once to turn it on and again to take a measurement. The response is almost instantaneous, with no noticeable lag, and the reading is very repeatable. It has a built-in USB rechargeable battery, which is a nice feature, especially since most cars have USB ports these days. There are a few things I don't like. Difficult to read in bright sunlight. The instructions do not match the device. Eye relief is almost zero and I can't see the numbers unless I take off my glasses. The focus of the eyepiece is adjustable, but my mild eyesight requires that I use all available settings. Overall this seems like a good deal, but there are plenty of rangefinders in this price range and for a few bucks more you could buy one. from a well-known American company that will appear in about a year if you need warranty support.
