This is a very good coffee maker. Makes great coffee. I have 3 additional comments: (1) The watermark lines on the side of the coffee maker (2 cup, 4 cup, etc.) are easy to see from the outside of the jug but hard to see from the inside. (2) The basket is supported by a spring on the pump tube. Spring and pump tube are *not* connected. If you are not careful when washing the pot by hand, the spring can easily slip off the pump tube and fall down the drain. (3) Blue glass handle cracked after 2 weeks of residential use.
