Metal shavings, breaks after 4 uses

Heavy, cuts cleanly but doesn't last long. It broke after being used to punch four 2.5" paper circles. Four. I didn't use thick or rough paper - it was no thicker than printer paper and a sheet. After cutting out four circles, the mechanism stops working and can no longer be used. He also left splinters of metal all over the paper and counter. We return and look for the best product.
