1/2 size up for running
I bought these shoes for running. The first pair I bought was Brooks. They were my normal size and very comfortable to walk in, but I found I had to go up a half size because my long toe touched the front of the shoe slightly which made long runs painful. I got 1/2 size bigger and they are perfect. So if you're one of those people whose second toe is a bit bigger than the rest, go up half a size :)
