I have been checking the tires on my cars regularly for decades. Using free self-service pumps at gas stations doesn't give me the convenience I want. I used to have an old fashioned bar gauge that seemed to work fine, but this one allows me to both check and pump air when needed. The gauge seems accurate and the air pressure button does its job well. It connects easily to my compressor and provides good airflow to inflate tires quickly.
