I had a different type of armband but the velcro didn't last long and I had to take off my phone case to use it. He, too, was sweating despite resistance. Thats much better! I use a slim case so I don't have to take it off to use this one. The clips look like they won't hold an iPhone 6, but they do - secure and not too heavy to get right in once you get used to it. A very thin case can get scratches and I wouldn't use it on a bare phone to avoid scratching the screen. The strap fits snugly around my forearm and biceps. My biceps are about 10 inches in circumference, so that would be too small for someone with much larger arms. There's a little pinching when adjusting the bracelet, but once it's in place it's not a problem. Skin and not closed I'm not worried about moisture damage from sweat build up. So far I'm very happy with it.
