I bought this to replace my Pro 12. My Pro 12 has HD, Acer doesn't have HD but you might fool me because the picture is great I don't see any difference. It's also very responsive. Since I keep it at home and pretty much everything I do is in the cloud, it still suits me. I use it next to my bed on my nightstand, mainly for watching movies, emailing and surfing the web. It feels good and appears to be well made. My only complaint is that the on-screen keyboard doesn't appear when logging in in the configuration I'm using (keyboard faces down on my bedside table), but I have a small handheld keyboard and mouse pad that I use. You can use your phone to sign in, but you still need to sign in and it may not be near you. Also, unlike my Pro12, I can't put it to sleep with a button press or on the screen, it only has the shutdown and I have to log in every time I start it up. You must also use your Gmail password. But these are trifles, the laptop is still good.
