I have had this camera for a little over a year and I can say that it is one of the best cameras I have ever owned! I'm a freelance videographer who recently entered the world of professional photography. As an aspiring photographer on a budget, I found this camera to fit my needs perfectly and got me some good quality photos and income without costing me a fortune. What is amazing is that I bought this Nikon D5200 and used it for the first time. I have to say she made a great first impression on me. PERFORMANCE: 5/5 The Nikon D5200 delivers excellent image quality with a resolution of 14 MP and an excellent ISO value. It has a pretty fast shutter speed and it's great that you can switch between manual and auto. Image quality: 4/5 Overall a good image depending on the lighting conditions. Photo quality is excellent in good light with the built-in flash, but I recommend using an external flash. The images aren't exactly paparazzi-worthy, but the photos this camera takes will still blow your mind. This is a great camera for the novice photographer who wants to go pro. I would recommend that you use more than one genuine OEM camera lens. I recommend zoom and fisheye lenses for this camera to create more eye-catching, stunning photos. This camera is ideal for beginners and advanced users. But if you want to get bigger then do it. If you are a full pro, you will most likely buy a more expensive camera. The average price of this camera is currently around $300 at the time of writing this review. Professionals typically invest upwards of $900 in their camera. But cost isn't everything. Not only because of the high price, but also because of the image quality and other features, every photographer should be careful when choosing a camera. BATTERY LIFE: 5/5 Battery life is impressive by my standards. But as with anything, battery life always depends on how much the device is used and what settings are used. I usually use this camera for weddings and receptions. I take an average of 300-500 photos per day of the event so by using the camera from 1pm to 11pm I can use this camera all day of the event without having to charge the factory battery. (*Note: I don't usually use flash for about 100 photos as these are outdoor shots in daylight. The rest of the photos are taken indoors.) These had internal storage rather than just relying on external SD cards.
