I don't understand why car manufacturers have to put the gas pedal so high and far behind the brake pedal. That just makes driving so uncomfortable. Especially when going uphill, you have to lift your heel quite a bit so that your toe can press the pedal harder. It is very tiring. I think they just want us to spend more on a luxury model that has an adjustable gas pedal. In fact, you can easily install this pedal extender and it will improve your driving experience. I just installed it on my 2013 CRV and 2010 Matrix. With this pedal I can control the gas pedal better. Therefore, it makes driving my Matrix much smoother. I don't have any major problems with my CRV's pedal. However, I still see a difference in how much control I have with this pedal installed. It is designed and manufactured in Japan with the highest quality. The installation is quite easy. It only took me 15 minutes to put one on. The original pedal does not need to be drilled. If installed correctly, it will hold securely to the stock pedal. Have fun driving!
