After seeing the very positive feedback on the 1begone system I ordered two sensors plus a receiver plus an additional sensor from Revain. I installed a sensor but other than a mounting screw providing a flimsy mount it was amazing. Mounted under the kitchen window opposite the hallway swing door and bedroom sliding doors, the sensor covers the window, both doors and much further, exceeding the recommended range of 25 feet and detecting both the incoming rabbit and the sheet of snow and ice. fall off the roof. The other two were installed to detect movement at the kitchen window, back door and utility room window. I was expecting a warm bodied rabbit but was surprised to see frozen ice/snow slabs as well as branch movement on trees up to 60ft away in strong winds but other than that I was so impressed with the motion sensors. Installed so far away that I ordered another receiver and two sets of sensors and two additional sensors to fully cover the front of the house and barn entrance. Another great feature of the 1byone motion detection system is that the additional audible alarms let me know if the detected motion is coming from behind or in front of the house and barn and act accordingly. I've solved the branch movement detection problem at the back of the house by removing low-hanging interfering tree branches, but have put up with very infrequent high wind alerts rather than crippling the impressive white spruce in the yard. Happy with two sets of three sensors and a receiver I made the horrible mistake of ordering another receiver and two sensors to replace the two Guardline sensors and a receiver which after only two months of excellent performance suddenly started giving out constant false alarms give . When the sensors wouldn't connect to the receiver I returned it for a replacement which also didn't connect. According to the answer to the question I asked, it could be because the third receiver was only ten feet from the other, but that doesn't matter. Out of curiosity, I decided to hook up one of the new sensors to an existing working receiver ten feet away from me, and it worked. In this case, I tried pairing a different one with an existing receiver and not only didn't work, but the existing receiver stopped communicating with the three existing sensors, so re-pairing the sensors to the receiver didn't work I have lost service on the three existing sensors. I submitted a request for help from 1byone but still haven't received a response, so I've downgraded my previous five star rating to one star as a warning to others. I filled out the WWW1byone form and explained the problem and the fact that attempting to pair one of the new sensors with an existing receiver resulted in the existing receiver not responding to its sensors asking for help, the previously working one Repair receiver and three sensors but 1byone not. take the trouble to answer my request for help. In this case I bought three additional Rodann Driveways to one that has worked great for years and installed them to replace the 1byone sensors and receiver which is now a high tech paper scale and returned them on credit. In a fair world we would also be credited with three previously working sensors and a receiver which were destroyed when I tried to attach two new sensors to the then working receiver but didn't hold my breath.
