I heard about the Vinturi from some friends who know wine so I decided to get it. I am a red wine lover but my wife prefers white wine. So just before Christmas I decided to buy a set of Vinturi red and white wine aerators. We have been using them for about 5 months now and I believe the aerator used with red wine really makes a difference. It makes a cheap/bad bottle of wine undrinkable, but it does a good job of opening a bottle of good red wine. I took it to a few Christmas parties and everyone seemed happy with it. However, Vinturi for white wine doesn't really do anything. We tried it with different white wines and there really is no difference between glasses poured straight from the bottle and glasses poured through Vinturi. So while I would recommend getting a Vinturi red wine aerator, save your money when it comes to white wine. aerator. It's just not worth the money.
