Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

Boots Spine walker 502 showed themselves well in the slush - you do not get wet. I walked in them at -13 degrees and it was comfortable, but standing for 30 minutes. and it's colder. In the thaw: the "cover" from the water works, but it is no longer comfortable for the feet (hot). And at low temperatures, the need for a cover is already eliminated, but it is easy to shake off the snow. The "quick" lacing system is convenient, but when walking it loosens up and needs to be tightened, and it's not so "fast" anymore, because. You need to fasten the zipper on the cover. Lightning YKK, can be attributed to the "+". The midsole is white and requires more maintenance. Height varies from 15mm at the toe to 30mm at the heel. The presence of rolling compensates for the rigidity of the midsole. The outsole is 3 mm thick, which I think is not enough. By the way, the same outsole and other shoes from this manufacturer. Sole pattern for the city, where the streets are cleaned, for the countryside I chose something more suitable. The disadvantages are that the drawing is small and as a result, snow is clogged into it and there will be a puddle in a warm room. In the thaw, when the ice is covered with water or snow, the boots are slippery, but no more slippery than other shoes without spikes. Heel cup of medium hardness. There is a loop for easy putting on. The models are already several years old, but the manufacturer has not made changes to the boots: The outer part of the tongue is made of rough material, and the inner part is made of “velvet”, as a result, the inner material in contact with the tongue noticeably wears out. The insole is removable, but because Because the midsole is a bit stiff, the insole needs to be thicker and softer. The quality of workmanship is not the highest, there are comments to the seams, the places of gluing the outsole, the inner lining. The boots fit true to size, but when compared with ski boots (art. 297) from this manufacturer, the latter run 2 sizes too small. In cold weather, I'll try how they keep the ice on the rink and get them to the ski slopes by public transport and on their own. The cost is too high. In February 2022, the cost of Spine walker 502 was 4990.

Pros
  • Appearance; Protect from getting wet; Removable insole.
Cons
  • Price; Quality, incl. inner lining.
