Everything is fine with this disc. I've made many coasters with it. You have to make sure you buy drives that they say they support - I was told by their tech support that - we suggest you use tdk, ridata, imation, literal, sony, philips, ritek. The following was also said: We do not recommend our customers to use memorex, maxell, any generics or private label such as officemax or braces. I found a firmware update that seems to get it working at 8x with Verbatims. This still doesn't work with the Officemax and Memorex drives I have. I haven't burned dual layer discs so I don't know about it.
