I can connect additional length without expensive connectors (from).

I have attached and detached the 10 feet as a spare to get to each RV's hold down channel. A rotating sleeve at each end makes the process _relatively_ easy; it's a little tedious, but *not* hard to do. I expect this unit to last the life of my RV.
