These radios work well. They have been tested through multiple walls/buildings and lots of metal. This greatly impacted the distance they worked (as to be expected) but I wasn't surprised and ordered more than I needed in anticipation. Keep this in mind when deciding which walkie-talkie model is right for your needs. The quality of the speakers they have is fantastic! My wireless computer speaker is broken. I laid out the walkie-talkies (two sets) and brought one to the computer as a makeshift sound system for a quick video presentation. It was very efficient and the sound was clear. The bases require a very precise angle when positioning the walkie-talkie. It's a feature that could have been tweaked a bit, but it didn't make a huge impact on my overall experience. The battery life seems okay so far. If I needed a walkie talkie in the future I would not hesitate to buy from this company again. Especially given the quick follow up to make sure I have what I need.
