Two of these recently failed during installation. After much troubleshooting, we discovered that the included SMB-RG6 adapter had failed. In both cases it worked perfectly when first screwed on, had problems after unscrewing and replugging the RG6 F connector and then completely failed showing no antenna connection on either the terrestrial or satellite side. If you need any of these, there's a quick fix. Search for "smb to F RG6 adapter" and you'll see an option for about $8 from Eightwood. With this antenna and RG6 it worked great, we ran to the roof. Or if you're aware of the issue and just screw the included adapter on once and leave it plugged in, you'll probably be fine. In any other way we have used this antenna for years when a customer needs an external Sirius antenna and it works very well unless something hits it and breaks the plastic. For such conditions there are more expensive and heavier options. Make sure you have a clear view of the southern sky when not near a terrestrial transponder.
