Review on 📻 BaoFeng BF-F8+ Dual-Band Two-Way Radio Transceiver- Black, 136-174/400-520 MHz Range by Matt Heringer

Some reviews say the display is annoying or difficult to read. I didn't find it as bad as some say. Granted, you can't read much with the backlight off, but I rarely have to look at the screen to check anything. When the wireless interface is actively used, the backlight turns on. When the backlight is on, the screen is excellent. If you need to turn on the backlight, simply pressing the exit button turns it on without changing the display (usually the menu exits before the backlight turns on). different backlight colors depending on the condition of the radio. It doesn't matter as there is an indicator just below the VFO/MR button that turns green when receiving and orange when transmitting. Another thing to note is that some UV-5R reviews mention that the lowest volume is quite loud. The lowest volume on this model can actually mute the speaker completely (or get close enough that you can't hear a difference). Everything else on this radio is as advertised. It works great and the price is great.
