I have two dogs that travel with me a lot, so I was interested in this dog car seat cover, which is waterproof and non-slip. I have another similar case but unlike this one it doesn't have side flaps and isn't as thick. What I like about this product: 1. It is well packaged and comes with its own carrying case.2. It has side flaps that cover both the sides of the seat and the front.3. It is waterproof.4. It has seat mounts that easily fit in the back seat of my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. It is thick and quilted which makes it comfortable for my dogs.6. It is easy to install with no instructions required.7. Velcro straps are located over the seat belt attachment points, allowing passengers to use the seat belts without having to remove the cover.8. There's a zip that allows you to drop the armrest between the rear seats, leaving the seats closed. A really thoughtful feature that most of these cases don't have. ---------------- Here's what I like about this cover: 1. The quilting is beautiful, but it has a texture that looks like it could catch on a dog's claws. Only time will tell. 2. The position of the seat belt flaps was a bit off for my car. They work but the seat belt anchors are not centered.3. The biggest downside for me is the size of this product. The back cover is too short. The top edge of the cover drops approximately 8 inches from the top of the seat when installed. This leaves part of the seat exposed to dirt, hair and moisture. The sides are well covered, as is the seat, but not the backrest. ---------------- ---------------------------------- ------ --------- I was a little disappointed with the short back of this cover's seat and the texture that may be open to dog claw hooks. I also found the lack of proper placement of the Velcro flap be a bummer. .Despite those things, this is still a good case with finished edges and strong headrest mounts and straps. The logo is small and I liked it.
