Well I can't comment on the durability of this knife yet but I can definitely say it is very sharp and well made. Fits well in the hand and looks chic. If I had something to complain about, it would be like this. I have a feeling the damascus pattern is engraved (not like my real damascus blades) and may not be real. It doesn't stick very well to my magnetic stripe. because of the non-stick slots along the blade. All in all this is a great knife and I won't make any Damascus claims on it if I'm wrong. Either way, it's a solid, sharp and beautiful knife and I'll be buying a Nakiri too.
