I've heard this lens called the best landscape lens in the world. i can believe it It's sharp, borderless, with great color and contrast. It pairs perfectly with an APS-C sensor DSLR and is on my K 01 most of the time. It's all metal with a flocked aluminum overlay on the lens cap. Everything about him exudes "quality”. Bokeh is great compared to most, but relatively poor by Pentax standards. The photos are breathtakingly beautiful. I will probably never shoot with a zoom lens again, except on TV cameras. I'm sorry Pentax makes some of the best photo gear in the world but can't spend money on advertising to get good reviews.
