These hair ties are actually much stronger and hold up better than normal narrow ones
I have hair that reaches my waist, maybe medium length. He's not curly, but he has a kind of wave. In any case, these hair ties are in fact much stronger and hold in place better than regular tight ones. I can wrap it around my hair 3 times and it fits tight, 2 times and it stays put but the ponytail feels looser. The only thing I wish they were thinner is because they remind me of a scrunchie when I use them (looks smart). I also added some photos. Hope they help. :)
