I must have bought the fourth or fifth batch. I often give them to long haired people and use harmful things like real rubber bands to secure the feathers on their heads. Every time they stretch a little, I just shampoo them, let them air dry and they're like new. Burlybands are the only things that keep my hair going all day. I mean look at the picture. This head of hair is nothing compared to a smaller band!

Ordered 22nd August. They are currently stretched out which is disappointing as my husband couldn't find anything to hold his hair. He really liked them until they started to wear out. We wash them and tumble dry them, which helps a little. For the price, I wish they lasted at least 6 months. Shown next to Goody's thin hair tie for comparison.

I have hair that reaches my waist, maybe medium length. He's not curly, but he has a kind of wave. In any case, these hair ties are in fact much stronger and hold in place better than regular tight ones. I can wrap it around my hair 3 times and it fits tight, 2 times and it stays put but the ponytail feels looser.
