The scent of this product is strong, almost artificially fresh. Odor isn't a problem for me, I'd rather smell too fresh than the lingering smell on my clothes from previous workouts. According to the label, I use the recommended 1/8 cup (I don't measure with caps, which is another option but not as easy as using a measuring cup) for a typical HE washer load. I think the label says this amount is enough for 16 downloads. The liquid is thick which makes it difficult to get the last few drops out of the measuring cup, so I just wipe off what's left in the measuring cup with one of the clothes so I use the whole amount and don't waste it. and then add it to the laundry. When I first used this product I would say it eliminated 80% of the workout odor from my clothes. In any case, I find that my sportswear smells even better with repeated use, but still has a very strong fresh scent.
