This thing works! I wish it had an option for manual adjustments but aside from that I love this timer. It has been super helpful in managing my irrigation system which was previously very difficult. Not only does it save me energy and water bills by regulating our sprinkler timing, it also makes life much easier during the summer when I'm not able to get out there myself. I'd say most of my favorite features are related to how easy it is to set up different timers at once - you don't have to go through each individual zone separately like many other systems do. We've used it primarily as a way to reduce over/under watering issues with our gardens and lawns. The adjustable scheduling feature helps us avoid those problems while allowing us to take advantage of rain showers or times we may otherwise miss. So far so good. You'll know if your garden needs more or less water than normal because water use will increase/decrease accordingly.
