Center of pedal is high, makes it kinda slippery, in spite of grip screws.
The center of the pedal where the spindle goes is smooth metal, and is higher than the rest of the platform. This causes your foot to slide around in spite of the screws on the edges. I’m using these on a commuter bike, so I’m just dealing. I’d never put these on a mountain bike where you need solid grip.
- Great budget pedals. They're a bit slippery whenits really wet. No issues in dry conditions.
- May have difficulty retaining traction when climbing steep terrain
