I ordered two of these units to split my two original media boxes into two other rooms. My network is a complex setup with multiple managed switches. The video quality is perfect, I initially had audio lag (this is stated in the product description) due to IP compression, but I changed the audio output settings to Dolby Digital, not PCM, and now there is no lag. An issue with one of the IR emitters not working but I replaced it with a spare I had laying around and they cost around £3. The product works as expected and will save me money in the long run. Note that the broadcast traffic is about 50 Mbit/s for each connected receiver. So you can add them to the VLAN like I did to prevent flooding all ports on your router/switch. Very happy with the purchase. I wish the receivers were sold separately as no additional transmitters are needed. Any receiver can be easily connected to any transmitter simply by changing the position of the microswitch.
