This is a good mid-range scanner. It has a good screen and is responsive so you don't have to keep typing and looking like an idiot. The menus are easy to navigate even if you are new to a scanner. While this scanner has some good basic features, you can purchase additional features (on an annual basis) if you need them. This reduces the cost of the scanner for people who don't need all the extra features. My advice if you are more than a casual user is to buy the scanner with the most features you can afford. This will save you money in the long run. I can recommend this scanner with 5 STARS
