**Update 2 - still great after 16 months! I still wash it every 2 months or so and it's holding up great. Impermeable feathers. I needed to replace another duvet, so I bought another one. ** Update - still great after 6 months and 2 washes in the washing machine! Would definitely recommend and would buy again if worn out. I'm very happy with it, especially for the price. Huge - see photos. I can rotate it sideways so it covers the mattress and still snaps into place at the foot of the bed. I took another customer's advice and fluffed it in the dryer (lofty - low/medium setting) and then let it sit overnight. It has become fluffier and the cotton has become a little softer. The 2 I bought for the bathroom are not only thicker but I am happy with the size and the thickness is adequate. It's not cheap flimsy material like I expected. Update - I always wash and dry my duvets in the washing machine. This one washed well too. Now the cotton coating is even softer.
