Works as advertised with a good range of features including return home, preset angles and a wide range of speeds. Just being able to return exactly to the starting position justifies the price of admission. I would like a better manual. For example, I have yet to figure out the difference between the "Set Origin" and "Save Current Position" buttons. "Return to preset position" takes you to the last pressed position, and none of them seem to remember during the power cycle. I could also use a better explanation regarding the correct control of the Interval Mode button. Although I couldn't see or feel it, other reviewers commented on the table's movement as being a bit erratic. Based on what you've said, I would expect a stepper motor to be used for speed control, which actually uses a series of very small "steps" to control the movement. This is a very economical and accurate "digital" type of speed control. While I don't photograph jewelry, I think good lighting and any "fast" shutter speed negates the effect of stuttering. I will use this method to capture 3D models with very precise movement between each frame. The continuous smooth movement will make such a session much easier than any method I have used before. All in all it works as it should. It runs on standard 12V DC, so it can be powered from many different sources including a battery. Reliable and well equipped, a good addition to a photo studio.
