As a non-enthusiast, I was very happy with the fitment. The controller felt really solid, the base didn't slip or tilt when moving, the switches were crisp, the throttle was precise. It was a great experience - until we moved on to the software. If you are thinking of buying this and don't know how to code in C, please watch the video on how to set this up with the game you want to play before you buy. As far as I can tell, DCS may be the only game that fully supports this setup. The included TARGET software essentially turns all your inputs into a virtual controller, and you can tell the program (in the C programming language) how you want each switch to interact. This is not a plug and play setup option. I couldn't use switches more than one button. When I wanted to lower my gear, I had to flip the switch (up and down) to change my gear, then up and down again to change it again. Imagine walking into a room and having to flip a switch up and then down to turn on the light. To turn the light on fully, you have to flip the switch four times. This is an immersion fracture. I loved the equipment, don't get me wrong. But I won't waste time learning how to program a joystick (it comes with manuals and tutorials) to play games sometimes. This purchase was like buying a Ferrari kit with no mechanical knowledge.
