Review on 🕶️ Serengeti Dante Tannery Polarized Sunglasses by Noah Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sunglasses great lenses no spring loop

I have been wearing Serengeti Granada sunglasses for 3 years now (great) and recently the spring loop broke on one side. I couldn't find a source for the parts so I decided to send them in for repair. If only I could get a new earbud assembly I would have and in hindsight I should have tried calling the Serengeti and asking if I could order one from there. Anyway, I sent them with a note that also mentioned that the coating on the lenses kind of peeled off on the outer edges shortly after receipt. A few weeks later I got the points back and the Serengeti (Bushnells) replaced them. replaced both (broken) lenses with new ones, replaced the broken earpiece unit with a new one and (I'm not sure but it's stuck again) fixed another spring hinge which isn't broken. Warranty expired. Shipping costs €10! I paid $12 for shipping, so my $22 post-warranty Granadas are practically new. I have to say that I like the Serengeti even more now! But back to Dante: Originally I was thinking of Dante sunglasses, so I figured I'd wear a pair while the others were renovating. I had black 555nm polarized lenses on the Granadas so I put the driver's polarized lenses on this pair. "Pink" lenses for drivers are amazing. The world looks kind of boring when you take it off after denigrating it for a while. They are amazing for driving or really anything. There is truth in this statement. And note that Dantes doesn't have spring hinges, which is one of the reasons I decided to buy these and not any other model. So far these goggles are great and I don't have to worry about the spring loops breaking. Did I mention the lenses are awesome?
