Review on Battery Operated Waterproof Twinkle Christmas by Lena Marckese

Great for outdoors without an outlet

I love wrapping lights around my trees but our house doesn't have an outlet on that side so I couldn't do that until I got these lights. Since they are battery operated, they can be taken anywhere. I wrapped them around the trunk and noticed how much easier they are to work with than standard lamps because they are made of wire and not plastic cord, allowing them to be bent and shaped to fit a tree without an extra pair of hands to hug. Store them while changing. There are enough lights to cover the trunks of each tree and they have some fun lighting options (I prefer to just stay on, but they also blink). They require 3 AA batteries and that's my only criticism of them. life is small I had about 5 nights of it (at about 5 hours a night) and then the batteries died and I had to charge them (but with standard non-rechargeable batteries this would be wasteful and expensive). They've been watered down and still work, so they're at least somewhat waterproof (as advertised - I believe they're IP 44 rated). You really have to select the pattern you want every time you turn them on, and they don't seem to have a timer so it's not exactly hands-free, but they're easy to turn on by pressing the button on the pattern you want. (I believe there are 9 options including just going through all the patterns) and have fun. Despite its small size, the light is bright and has several beautiful colors (red, blue, green and yellow). I'm glad to have the opportunity to decorate my trees again without an available heel. They probably won't last forever but I have other similar bulbs and got 4 vacations from them (and they still work) so I hope they last that long. Apart from having to charge the batteries weekly I am very happy with it.

Cons
