The problem with text messaging is caused by the device receiving time and date information from the network. I managed to solve this by disabling VOLTE (Voice over LTE) and then resetting my 4g network connection.1) Open settings.2) Communication > Network settings > Network type -> 3G/2G3) Back to settings. 4 ) Scroll down - VoLTE - disable for SIM 15) Back to settings. 2) Connectivity > Network Settings > 4G/3G/2G You'll know you've got it right when the signal icon next to the battery shows LTE but not VOLTE. So far this has solved the issue for me even after restarting the device. I wish you success. I also wish it had an actual flashlight, but I like that you don't have to plug in your headphones to get the FM radio.
