Review on 💡 POTEK 5000W Power Inverter with Bluetooth, 4 AC Outlets, 12V DC to 110V AC, and 2 USB Ports for Cars by Travis Filippi

updated 5/2020 after 4 years and 2 of them i downgraded my rating to 3 stars. If you use it all the time, then be prepared that it will stop working in 1-2 years. I guess it's not a big deal, but if you have the money now, just invest in a pure sine wave inverter that's rugged and durable. I only recommend one that has fuses available as this is a fairly common problem with inverters. In both of the 2 of this model though. it was no problem. Something else must be overloaded because they stopped working when something bigger came up. within reasonable range and properly sized circuit breakers in place.Eh. It looks like it's a few bucks cheaper than what I actually got, but hey, they powered my entire little house for about 1.5 years each, so it did what it was supposed to do . ___ The original inverter worked great for the first few months, able to power some larger devices - nowhere near 3000 watts, but none of these things seem to be delivering the watts promised. Then one day it just stopped working. The USB ports work, but the outlets gave no power. After trying everything I could think of to verify the adequacy of the input power, etc., I opened up the unit to check the fuses. There are 8 40 amp car fuses inside but they all looked good and have been tested. --Note to others, it's a great idea to have these on hand as blown fuses are a big problem for many people, but not in my case. defective and they will replace it. After a few tire jumps they sent a replacement inverter and so far it has worked well. Of course the other one also worked fine for a few months before it stopped working so we'll see :) I'll come back and update this review when more time passes to let you know if this one lasts the 6.5 months the other survived lasted .update 07.03.2019 the exchanged inverter had no problem for several months. Upgrading my rating from 3 to 4 stars.
