I wore the mens 7 1/2 when adidas first released their leather shoes about 7-8 years ago. more like sneakers, I found the fit has changed dramatically - it's much smaller and narrower so I'm now ordering a full size shoe - size 8 1/2. On this particular shoe, they widened the toe box a bit, much to my relief. It's incredibly comfortable and I really feel the cushioning in the heel. It feels like walking on a soft carpet. The laces are strategically placed so that the shoe fits snugly against your foot when you put it on. This is one of the best shoes they have ever made. They are light but provide support and are very easy to walk on. I carry my racquets and we have a very hilly course, so light weight and grip are very important to me. In addition, the boots do not tear the greens. It's also waterproof, unlike some mesh uppers in other Adidas models, so my feet stay dry, especially in the mornings when the grass is wet. Only time will tell how it holds up but my experience with Adidas is that their shoes last for years - I just need to change my boots from time to time. Go at least 1/2 size larger when ordering this shoe. Otherwise, Adidas has found success with this shoe.
