Using only one pair of these waterproof socks and using them for several days in a row I started drying them which the instructions say not to do. Threads can deteriorate faster than if air dried as recommended. Maybe that's why my feet get wet and my socks get wet. Surprisingly, their firmness and clearance to the foot seem to be an improvement over thin cotton or polyester socks, even when wet. When abused, these socks still find another way to meet needs.
