While I don't like to rate shipping reviews, I have to say that this product arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Perfect. Now the mount itself is excellent. If used on a Topeak Explorer stand you will be in trouble if you don't heed my warning. To install: 1. Use a 5/16.2 ratchet screwdriver. Make sure the hex of the screw faces the same direction as the light (don't put the nut under the Topeak stand).3. Use 5/16 bit4. Squeeze your hands and fingertips so they come under the Topeak rack and begin to rotate. It's made out of a fair amount of plastic. Nothing particularly durable. If I was going to mountain bike I would probably need to buy a few more parts given the bumps the MB can take. For my hybrid, I think it should be fine, even if there are pesky potholes every now and then. My biggest concern is the plastic, it's the outside of the nut. As you start tightening the screw under the brace, the outer plastic wraps around and loosens. Just don't overtighten. I use this with the amazing Hotshot SL 50 Cygolite rear light. I love this combination. I've been riding for over 5 years and I don't know why I didn't purchase this combo sooner. I highly recommend this mount. As you can see from the pictures there are 2 mounting options. I went with the taller part of the Topeak rack so it wouldn't hit my tire when I got into a crazy pit. Something that hard would probably damage my rim, but just in case.
