This is my fifth sous vide stick, by far the worst. It's extremely weak, feels cheap, and the controls are buggy at best. It took 1 gallon of water 2 hours to go from 75 degrees to 140 degrees. (Never got to the temp I was aiming for (190)). Spend your money elsewhere and enjoy the compelling experience instead of waiting for this device to work. Correctly. That being said, the compact size is actually quite pleasing (it's wider than a standard stick, but it's also about half the size). If it were more efficient I would highly recommend it, unfortunately it falls far short of "reasonable" functionality.
