I didn't review it for traveling because I don't use it that way. I bought it to store a digital thermometer and accessories, and it is working well in that usage. There are various "compartments" inside created by elastic bands that keep items from flying out when you open the case. The zipper seems to be high quality, with a smooth action that doesn't bind. The hard case offers some protection (but don't step on it or drive on it - it's not that robust). For applications like mine or similar, a good choice.
