It was easy to install, luckily I'm a very resourceful person as I have one of the first Ring 2 doorbells to hit the market. I don't even have a hole in my back like new ones. So I just tapped the wire under and behind the doorbell. Anyway, the Soler panel works and charges my battery with no issues. The status of the solar panel in settings says it's not connected, but I know it's working because the battery level keeps rising. So I'm glad I don't have to change the battery every week.
