    Ease of installation. - Generators and portable power supplies

    It was easy to install, luckily I'm a very resourceful person as I have one of the first Ring 2 doorbells to hit the market. I don't even have a hole in my back like new ones. So I just tapped the wire under and behind the doorbell. Anyway, the Soler panel works and charges my battery with no issues. The status of the solar panel in settings says it's not connected, but I know it's working because the battery level keeps rising. So I'm glad I don't have to change the battery every week.

    Works with Ring2 (2020 version)

    Finally found a solar panel that works with my Ring2 doorbell (2020 version). I tried 3 different models and none worked. Once fully charged and plugged in, the doorbell will maintain a 98-100% charge even on cloudy days in Northern California. Keep in mind that this is a trickle charger and it will take some time before you notice the flashing blue light (ring button) charging. It doesn't show up as a solar panel in the app (fix that ring), but as long as it works, who cares.

    This panel is as good as the installation instructions are terrible. Don't be fooled by the host deletion instructions. Just plug in the cable and fasten it behind the battery. The most important thing is the product itself, and this is an effective panel. We live in a courtyard with a lot of walk-in customers. I changed the battery every 4 or 5 days.     Works great, mount kinda sucks

    Got this 1 month ago for doorbell without solar panel. It barely charged for the first few days, then it just picked up and my doorbell usually stayed steady at 98-100 with settings maxed out. assemble as the name suggests. It's not the best option for corners. Every time I install and twist it, it just twists no matter how tight I tighten it. but luckily i was able to set it right.     You may have read a review saying it doesn't charge any fees and doesn't work. Well it is, but you have to be patient and understand how the sun rises and sets around your house. Regarding patience, you can place the sun in a specific place and position it in a specific direction.
